7/08 This resort was not close to being a 3 star resort. The rooms were horrible. The staff could care less if you are unhappy, most of the staff was rude. The beach pictures are not accurate. The food was okay, there are some good restaurants. Drinks were good. Towels, wash clothes and hand towels were in short supply. We had to ask for towels when we checked in due to only one in room. Had to request twice before we had some brought to our room. No hairdryers, no fridge, no iron. No marina or any activites. All in all, you get what you pay for. This seems to be a party resort, loud 24 hours a day - doors slamming, yelling in the hallways, loud music playing. If you want a cheap resort that does not care if you come back, then this is the place for you, but if you want a resort that is actually friendly to their guests, then forget this place. 6/08 I recently just got back from my trip from Cancun. I highly recommend this hotel to young people ages 18-26. It's totally a party hotel! For those of you who would like to get away from your kids, this is the place for you. From the time my friends and I got to this hotel until the time we left to go home we were treated like ROYALTY!! The restaurant menus were deliciously unexpected. I thought I would be having average meals, but wow!! There were so many selections and varieties! The swimming pool was enormous and there were 2 swim up bars. Service from the waiters and other staff were excellent as well. I actually didn't expect such good variety of amenities at the hotel since the price was so cheap. I think you are getting more than what you paid for!! My friends and I are highly satisfied. I dont know what else to say, except for I really loved my stay at Oasis Cancun and I can't wait to go back. Kevin, SC
