REVIEWS 7/08 If you are looking for relaxation and excellent service, then the Cozumel Palace is the place for you! Our family truly enjoyed this super clean hotel. The guest rooms were very nice and each one has a hot tub! The maid service was excellent. The food was very good and there were plenty of options. I enjoyed every meal and snack while I was there. We ordered many poolside meals and drinks. There were plenty of wait staff to take care of your every need! They were always helpful and eager to bring us whatever we needed. The pool was very nice and had a great view of the beautiful Carribean Sea. They provided us with snorkeling equipment at no extra charge and we snorkeled at our hotel just steps away from the pool. There was a beach area for relaxing under a sun hut and watching my little ones make sand castles. The kids are definitely not forgotten at this resort. They have two kiddie pools and a play area with a swing set and slide. My boys loved it! The staff were so good with my children. The spa was very nice, I had an excellent massage and facial. My manicure and pedicure was excellent as well. I still can't believe the INCREDIBLE service! It was a dream vacation! I highly reccommend Palace Resorts! Shopping was nearby so you could get anything you might need. We will definitely go back and won't hesitate to try another Palace Resort Hotel!!!! Gina, TX ********* 6/08 We just returned from 5 nights from June 9-14th and it was amazing! The food was good although we never ate at the asian place all of the others were very good. The view from the room was beautiful. I thought not having an actual beach would bother us but it was still just as relaxing in the infinity pool. The staff were always happy to help with our request and always told us it was their pleasure! The room was just as the pics are on the website. They cleaned ours daily and the beds were not hard like some other post suggested. The staff put on evening entertainment and there was a live band in the lobby until midnight. After that we would go out on the town and then when we came in at 3 or 4 am room service was great even at that late hour! Go there and see for yourself, you will love it!! We were very happy and would choose a Palace resort again for another vacation. Jenny - NE ********* 5/08 The staff is unbelievable. They take their customer service to heart and really provide any assistance you need without being overbearing or in the way. The rooms were terrific, all with an ocean view. We have found May is a great time to go since most hotels are not full during that time. Great pools (not huge, but nice). An unbelievable entertainment staff that has actiivities every afternoon from water volleyball to painting or spanish lessons. These kids are enthusiastic and very personable. None of the activities will interfere with your relaxation if you don't want to participate. We didn't do any of them, but enjoyed seeing others take part while we snoozed in the sun. The staff will ask you once if you want to participate, but say no and they will leave an open ended invitation and leave you alone. The snorkeling right in front of the hotel is very good. Easy entry and gear for free. Make sure you use the ramp into the water and the ladders out. Some people tried to climb down the ladders and got frustrated. Much more difficult that way. There is always someone to assist you. Just ask if you have a question. Food: Excellent. Not many buffets as with other AI's. Only a lunch and breakfast buffet available. We only did the breakfast which included a cook to order grill as well. Food was great. All other meals are sit down and order from a menu. We enjoyed all of them and never had to wait for a table. (This may have been due to the hotel not being full, but the restaraunts weren't even close to being to capacity). Service can be slow, but hey, I'm on vacation and the food was worth the wait! Our favorite was the Italian, but the Oriental and Mexican were very good as well. They also turn the grill outdoors into an evening restaraunt which included the evening shows. Very good as well. Food was available 24 hours/day through room service (no extra charge), but we only did breakfast one morning. (Tip: if you ask for it between 6:30 - 7:00, it is there at 6:30 sharp!) The grill by the pool is also open all afternoon with a varied menu (cheeseburgers pretty good, but nachos and guacamole were great) The drinks were very good. Watch out for Margaritas...very strong! They have top shelf alcohol, but you do need to specify if you have a preference. For divers: We used Aqua Safari on-site and had a great experience. We only did 7 dives, but all were excellent. Divemasters very good and accomodating to your wishes. Palancar and Columbia reefs were our favorite, but Tormentos and Chankunaab were good as well. Saw turtles on every dive and rays on several. Some sand on reefs on shallower dive, but still very good. Good sea life overall. Overall: One of the best vacations ever for us. Took a tour to the east side and saw the beaches and had lunch at Coconuts overlooking the surf. Great view. Can't wait to go back. Cozumel Palace is also located very conveniently. Easy walk to town or $3 taxi. We stayed at Moon Palace before, but it was just too big for us. Like a city. CP is the smallest of the Palace resorts and we loved the size and atmosphere. Didn't hear anyone complaining about anything. WA from Oregon 3/08 My family stayed at the Cozumel Palace in March. Beautiful Resort. There really isn't a beach since the reef is right in front of the hotel. Easy for snorkeling and equipment is provided. Excellent service and food. Loved the desserts and chips and salsa. Rooms were very nice and had beautiful views. This is a small resort, not like Moon Palace. Very nice if that's what you prefer. Plenty of activities all day and entertainment at nite. You can also walk or take a taxi to shopping or clubs closeby. I can't wait to go back. CP-Michigan ******** 3/08 The palace was incredible from the time we arrived until the time we left. We had an incredible trip filled with fun,excitement, adventure, fun couples, and great food. 24-hour room service, how cool is that!!!! Champagne, strawberries, and chocolate cake at 4 in the morning. We were close to the night life downtown and yet the coral reef was right in front of the resort. We were a little far from the town but still that hardly was an issue everything else was so over the top. I have stayed at many hotels and none were as accommodating as this hotel was. The staff were very helpful. The hotel was beautiful, the beds were soft, the rooms were elegant and functional. I would drop everything and leave today to do that all over again. JK
