Aventura Spa Palace

This adults only resort (18+) is set within an 85-acre expanse, combining the exuberant virgin jungle, typical of the state of Quintana Roo, with wide and spacious lawns and gardens carefully designed to please the senses. Our botanical garden cares for and multiplies the native trees and flowers to offer you the widest array of brilliant colors. From the central patio with its colonial fountain, through the romantic archways, down to the natural tile floor to the carefully handcrafted furniture, it all combines to create a magical setting. Enjoy exchange privileges at select Palace Resorts.

Important Update: In April half of Aventura Palace will become a family resort with the other half remaining adults only.
2/09 Just back from the Avenura Spa Palace. Beautiful resort, excellent service, no beach (but I knew that before going). Everything here is clean and well-kept. Food was good, lots of variety and fresh fruit. Drinks were very good depending on which bar. Very good liquor selection. Drinks at the pool bar were a little weaker, probably because people sit there all day! Rooms were very nice with good beds and lots of pillows. Free wireless internet. We took the tour to the ruins in Tulum, that was nice to see, very informative. We also visited Xpu-Ha Palace. That's a nice small resort with jungle-like surroundings and animals. The beach there was really bad. Pools were nice though. Aventura is much like Moon Palace, very big and spread out. Lots of walking, which we liked. The gym was exellent but you had to get there early to get the machine you wanted. We had a great time, but prefer Cancun Palace. I love walking the beach in Cancun. Aventura will be dividing the resort in half in April and making one half for families and the other half for Adults Only. CP

11/08 This resort was absolutely amazing! I travel a lot so I was skeptical when booking this because the pictures usually make the resort look much better than it really is. Not this one! In all honesty the pictures don't give this place justice! It is so incredibly clean and beautiful. The staff is curteous, helpful, and ALWAYS waiting to serve you. The lagoon was so much fun to snorkle in (and its free!). We even saw a sting ray one day. A great plus to staying at not only this resort but ANY Palace resort was there is a bus that runs each day to take you from palace to palace and you get full benefits at each palace. We didnt take advantage of this because this resort was so perfect anyway! The entertainment was really good as well! One night we had a circus, there was fire dancing, and a casino night at the lagoon. The only downfall that we found within our stay was the oceanfront rooms with the great view are for "members only" aka timeshare holders. So our room was on the North side on the very edge. It was a long walk wherever we went. But that's such a small complaint! Everything else was above and beyond our expectations. Katie, MT

9/08 - Everything about this resort was topnotch. I still can't get over how friendly and helpful the all the hotel staff was. They would do anything to make your stay the best it could be. Food was also excellent and it was nice that it was all-inclusive. Everything was very well kept. The setting gives a very relaxed feel becuase it's adults only. The ride from the airport is a little long (just over an hour) but that has its advantages, closer to Tulum and Playa de Carmen. All-around beautiful place. I would definately remcommend it! KL - VA

7/08 - If you've never been to Mexico, this is a great first choice. It's all-inclusive and all you have to do is decide what to do for the day. The amenities of the facility are top notch and you can go on free excursions from here also. The only negatives were that the food was average, but there were many choices to work your way around that, and the beach wasn't very accesible from here but you could take a free shuttle to one of the hotels other facilities that had better beach access. This hotel was top notch in every other way! Definitely will return. Brad, NM

7/08 - We loved this resort. My husband and I just returned from our Honeymoon on May 10,08. We had a great time here. The food was great and the people were sooo nice! The rooms were really clean and the jacuzzi was big enough for 4 people. The mini bar was convenient although with only two of us we didn't seem to use the alcohol too much. The tours they offer were definitely worth the time especially when your meals are also included away from the resort. I would suggest going to Playa del Carmen since it is only 15 min away for shopping and then stop at Playacar for dinner since it is part of the Palace resorts and the meal is free.
We are planning our return trip already! Jenny, MI
